I've set up this account to showcase my fanfiction series which is loosely based on the 'Sonic the Comic' series published by Fleetway and ran from 1993 to 2002. More information about it can be found here - [link]

As I've said, my fanfiction is only loosely based on the comic and I only really use the characters, settings and several of the comic strips which I've twisted and turned to my own continuity, so there's no reason for anybody to shy away from my fanfiction just because they've not read the comic. Also, any references to existing 'Sonic the Comic' characters/places and events in my fanfiction will be well explained - so please take a look and comment or criticise - I welcome any and all feedback.

I will be posting my stories here as they are finished, but they won't be in chronological order, so please refer to the story listing below to find out where to begin - or just dive in as important points from previous stories will be referenced or a note included if a previous story is recommended or essential reading.

While I have taken a new author name - 'Hoshiko Aurora' - my fanfiction will still archived at several sites under my old author name - 'Aura Starfire' - as I don't want to lose the reviews I have by creating a new account and re-uploading them. The reason I changed it was because 'Aura Starfire' is actually the name of my fan-character and I felt I was in danger of becoming one of those authors whose fan-character is a 'self-insert' - when in fact I was using it as an author name before I came up with the character.



'The Future's Past

Synopsis - Past, present and future collide in this story taking place in the years before Robotnik and the freedom fighters existed. Co-written with Matt Morwell. Looking forward to some much needed r&r at Starbase 83, the crew of the Enterprise have no idea that rescuing an alien from a dying planet will mean an unusual detour. (chronology - 2587)
